Title: Increases Penalties for Violent Crimes and Camping on Public Property Without Permission
Vote to pass a bill that increases penalties for violent crimes and makes it a class B misdemeanor to "unlawfully camp" on public or private streets after a first warning in the state of Kentucky.
Increases criminal felony penalties for certain violent crimes including pentilies for individual who knowingly distribute fentanyl or a drug laced with fentanyl that results in death (Sec. 5).
Specifies it as a class B misdemeanor to "unlawfully camp" on public or private streets after a first warning in the state of Kentucky (Sec. 17).
Exempts individuals sleeping in their cars for up to 12 hours from the aforementioned misdemeanor penalties (Sec. 17).
