Agribusiness is the number one industry in our state. Georgia farmers work hard to help us put locally grown food on our own dinner tables as well for families around the nation and the world. Agriculture is the most visible and the economically viable hallmark of our state land usage. Our farmers together with the Georgia Department of Agriculture and ongoing agricultural researchers use many innovative methods to ensure agriculture abundance. I am committed to our farmers to ensure that they are well supported and that legislation is passed that will support our agricultural businesses.
