Issue Position

Having grown up in the district and now as a father of three children attending public schools, I know how strong our education system is and can be. We need to ensure that schools have the resources they need and that teachers can teach students individually, not just to a test. Critical thinking skills are the key to building Virginia as a leader in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Our region's standing as an engine for economic growth and technological advancement is dependent on our investment in future generations now.
