Senator Jon Tester, Vice-Chairman of the Senate Indian Affairs Committee, today issued the following statement after the Senate Indian Affairs Committee held a nomination hearing for Jonodev Osceola Chaudhuri to be Chairman of the National Indian Gaming Commission.

"I support the nomination of Mr. Chaudhuri and I look forward to working across the aisle to confirm him as soon as possible.
