Congressman Rokita: "Our new leadership team, which I handpicked for their experience and exemplary credentials, will be a great asset to my office, the people of District 4, and the State of Indiana. This team will continue leading my office with excellence as we move into the 114th Congress."

Today, Representative Todd Rokita announced a new leadership team to serve the constituents of Indiana's 4th District, both in the state and in Washington.

Renee Hudson will lead the team as Chief of Staff. Renee brings more than a decade of Capitol Hill experience to the office, having previously served as Chief of Staff to former Representative Ben Quayle of Arizona and former Hoosier Representative Mark Souder. Most recently, Ms. Hudson served as Director of Finance Development for American Action Network and Congressional Leadership Fund, one of the country's most prominent and successful 501(c)(4) action tanks and its affiliated Super PAC.

"I believe in and have great respect for Rep. Rokita's experience, service and leadership and I'm truly honored to have the opportunity to lead his team," said Hudson. Hudson went on to say, "The team we're building has the caliber and stature to elevate Rep. Rokita's Congressional operations and services to the next level and I'm excited and proud to be a part of that effort."

"Renee is a widely respected, seasoned strategist and advisor and brings an elevated level of leadership and experience to my Congressional operations," said Rokita.

Tom Borck, Rep. Rokita's long-time policy advisor, will move into the position of Deputy Chief of Staff while also maintaining his current responsibilities as Legislative Director. Tom joined Rep. Rokita's office in 2011, after more than three years working as a health care consultant for several clients in the biopharmaceutical, medical device, and insurance industries. Tom will be working alongside Renee in the Washington office, spearheading Rep. Rokita's new assignment as a member of the House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee, in addition to working on strategic communications.

"I'm excited to be a part of this new leadership team and have great confidence in the talent joining Team Rokita. I look forward to building on our record of success as we continue working for the great Hoosiers of the 4th District, " said Borck.

"Tom is a proven member of my team that manages my active legislative portfolio with professionalism. His steady hand will continue to serve the people of Indiana well," said Rokita.

Heading up the operations in Indiana will be Matt Steward, who joins Rokita's office as District Director. Steward has directed economic development efforts in the motorsports industry for former Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels, served in the office of the mayor for former Indianapolis Mayor Stephen Goldsmith, managed three statewide political campaigns and served with former Indiana Attorney General Steve Carter. In the private sector, Steward most recently was the CMO for Indiana technology firm AxiaTP. He has also led national public relations and marketing campaigns for both MARC USA and Westcomm clients across a wide array of industries that include automotive, new energy, technology, advanced manufacturing, real estate and education.

"I have a great respect for Congressman Rokita and have known him for over fifteen years. I can't wait to get started working on his team and start serving the community members of the 4th Congressional District, " said Steward.

"Matt has a rare and invaluable combination of private and public sector experience and I am happy he has chosen to once again serve our great state by leading my Indiana operations," said Rokita.
