Rokita Fights for the Unborn: Halts Taxpayer Funding for Abortions

Today, Representative Todd Rokita helped lead H.R. 7, the "No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion and Abortion Insurance Full Disclosure Act of 2015" to passage.

"Hoosiers deserve limited government that protects life. I believe that life begins at conception. If we are going to encourage a culture of life rather than one of death, we should never spend tax dollars on abortions or fund organizations that encourage the practice. The passage of this bill shows the commitment of the House to stand for the most vulnerable in our society."

Recent reports from the Government Accountability Office (GAO) have confirmed that ObamaCare does pay for abortions.

H.R. 7 passed the House of Representatives 242 -- 179.
