Issue Position

The question of how our society treats people, and how the law recognizes them is ongoing and at the forefront of our court and legislative battles today. I've specialized in these issues for years -- whether through my work founding the Women's' Center at Boise State University, teaching, or my long and ongoing efforts to open up space for people who are marginalized in our society. I understand how our systems, policies and laws may sometimes disregard those who deserve equal protection, and I will fight to change this. We must create opportunities for all people to freely pursue their dreams and goals.
