Issue Position: Economic Growth is a Top Priority

Issue Position

Balanced budgets, quality educational opportunties, and a solid infracture contribute to economic growth.

Balanced state budgets prevents "downshifting" costs to towns and demonstrates to business and industry that New Hampshire encourages economic development. As a Town of Barrington Selectman and member of the House Municipal and County Government Committee, I'm committed to protecting our towns and cities.

Encouraging the next generation to stay, work and raise families here is a priority. Affordable housing, solid job growth, good wages and a first rate public education system is essential.

Producing the next generation of leaders and entrepreneurs, and building our economy starts with funding for New Hampshire's public schools, colleges and universities.

A safe, efficient, and well-maintained roads and transportation system means business will invest and expand in New Hampshire. Locally, our roads are a critical piece of economic development efforts.

Our water, land, air, forests, open spaces, and mountains are natural treasures that encourage tourism and makes our state a top place for recreation, business and families.
