Issue Position

The key to economic development is to know how the public and private sectors interact, to make smart investments, and to anticipate what is coming around the next corner. Having worked as an engineer, and for the Central Alabama Electric Cooperative, as well during my time on the Autauga County Commission, I have worked on many economic development projects, including The Robert Trent Jones Golf Course, TWB, Tenaska, and Southern Generation. With each project, we brought everyone to the table, and made sure that existing revenues were protected and that incentives came out of new revenues. If I am elected to be your next state senator, I will continue this regional approach to the issues. I will be a representative for all the people of the district, not just a select few.
