Issue Position

I fully support our military and its mission. As a veteran of the United States Coast Guard and the daughter, sister, and sister-in-law to retired Army Colonels, I fully believe the state and the federal government should support the military and its families in both their everyday needs and their healthcare. I do not want to see our current military members, who are returning from the Middle East, treated as our Vietnam Veterans were treated. That is why I am a supporter of Pease Greeters and attend whenever I am able. I am also a strong supporter of "Soldier's Angels". I have adopted 6 soldiers through "Soldier's Angels". Thank God they have all returned safely.
