Lisa has worked to increase the minimum wage, ensure living wages for contracted work, and expand access to benefits under the Family Medical Leave Act. She is a former union member and union steward who understand the value of collective bargaining to the employee and employer alike. When Act 10, eliminating collective bargaining rights for public employees, became law, Lisa was on the front lines fighting the impact of this legislation. On the City Council, Lisa has worked to extend contracts for our city employees and continues to speak out about how providing our workers a seat at the bargaining table helps us provide better services to the public. As your State Representative, Lisa will be a strong voice for fairness and respect for our public employees and will work to restore the rights that have been lost in recent years.
