As a former police officer with 30 years experience, I spent most of my adult life protecting our streets, homes and most importantly, our families. Public Safety is more than just locking up criminals, it is taking steps to protect our community and children.

Ended Early Release, and restored Truth-in-Sentencing -- so that criminals serve their full sentences.
Authored the Castle Doctrine -- strengthening self-defense protections
Protected our children -- authored Maddie's Law and the Child Trafficking and Child Pornography Prevention Act
Shielded Domestic Violence Victims -- by strengthening no-contact orders and the Crime Victims Rights Act
