Government should be held accountable for the action it takes. This website will link to votes and the ongoing actions of our state legislature even before I get into office. I believe in reading and understanding the legislation before I vote on it, regardless of where it originated. We may not always agree, but you will always understand the reason I voted the way I did. I believe that our US Constitution is an amazing document and should be upheld, not updated via judicial activism. I believe our State Constitution is a well thought out document that has had modifications, both good and bad, since its 1963 inception. It should not be changed except in the most important and necessary instances, and then only via the course set to do such things. Again, judicial activism should not be the cause of constitutional change.
