Jeff has led the fight to protect our civil rights and liberties. Prior to being elected, he served as Chair of NARAL Pro-Choice Maryland. Now in the House of Delegates, he's a passionate advocate for a woman's right to choose. Jeff also supports equal rights for the LGBT community. Each year, Jeff has defeated attempts to write hate and discrimination against gays and lesbians into our state Constitution. Jeff's commitment to preserving equal rights for all Marylanders is well known in Annapolis.

Defeated all legislative attempts to restrict a women's right to choose
Passed legislation to end police spying on peaceful anti-war protestors and anti-death penalty activists
Co-sponsored marriage equality legislation every year since election
