The modeling, simulation, & training (MS&T) industry provides combat readiness training for our troops and is home to thousands of high wage jobs in Central Florida. As a retired US Marine Corps Colonel who oversaw an aircraft manufacturing, repair, and overhaul facility and a modeling, simulation, & training command, I have the experience and knowledge to grow Central Florida's regional military installations in high skill areas such as manufacturing, simulation and training, logistics, and engineering support services. Partnerships between industry, academia, and Department of Defense (DOD) can help expand the translation of DOD products and services to private sector entrepreneurs for new applications in fields such as education, manufacturing, healthcare training and research, homeland security, natural disaster relief, and transportation. Entrepreneurial and startup companies are the leading job creators, and are capable of growing and expanding an industry that delivers high wage jobs to Central Florida. I will use my business experience to represent you in Congress and make Central Florida the leader in high skill, high wage jobs.
