Education
Education options continue to be a driving force in determining where Indiana families choose to live and grow. Having participated in the Elkhart School System I am convinced that it prepared and placed my children in front in terms of post high school education and eventually career choices. However, the educational paradigm must continue to change to meet the need and learning style of each student. Not-withstanding, education is a collaborative effort between parent and the educational system providing the skills the child requires to succeed and serve as tomorrow's leaders.

Priorities will include spending more money on classroom learning and teaching, while reducing wasteful school administration. The value of education is found directly in the classroom and I will work to ensure taxpayer dollars are put to good use. I also recognize that parents know best what the needs and learning styles of each student are. To best serve the children and the families
