Griffin: House Passes Short-Term Farm Bill Extension

Congressman Tim Griffin (AR-02) issued the following statement after House passage of H.R. 3695, which extends the current farm bill through January 31, 2014:

"Rick Crawford and John Boozman have worked tirelessly to reach agreement between Senate Democrats and House Republicans on a multi-year farm bill, and I appreciate their efforts. The short-term extension the House passed today will prevent a reversion to old law and protect Arkansas farmers and ranchers until a real, long-term solution can be agreed upon."
