Location: Washington, DC
Issues: Conservative

Idaho First District Congressman Raúl Labrador was recognized by various organizations based on his voting record on key conservative principles. Congressman Labrador issued the following statement for earning the American Conservative Union Ratings Award for a 96% score in 2012, the Club for Growth's Defender of Economic Freedom award for a 98% in 2012, and a 100% from Americans for Prosperity in its final scorecard for the 112th Congress:

"I am honored that my voting record in the previous session of Congress has been recognized with high scores by the American Conservative Union, the Club for Growth, and Americans for Prosperity. I came here to change the way Washington runs and promised Idahoans I would fight in Congress for free markets, limited government and civil liberties. I am proud to be recognized by these leading conservative organizations because they indicate I am doing exactly what I told my constituents I would do in Washington. I will continue to fight because we continue to need a less intrusive federal government and a stronger, greater commitment to free enterprise and liberty. With every vote I cast, the values we hold as Idahoans are at the forefront of my mind."

Americans for Prosperity is a grassroots organization committed to smaller government and economic freedom, and ranks voting records for Members of Congress consistent with those principles.
