Guthrie Receives ACU "Conservative Award"

Congressman Brett Guthrie (KY-02) was recently awarded the "Conservative Award" by the American Conservative Union (ACU) Foundation.

The "Conservative Award" is given to Members of Congress who score above 80 percent on the voting record determined by the ACU. The ACU scores legislation that protects the founding principles of our nation -- "constitutionally limited government, individual liberty, free markets, a strong national defense and traditional values."

"It is an honor to receive this award and be recognized for my Conservative values," said Congressman Guthrie. "We are fortunate to call America our home and it is imperative we do everything we can to protect it and ensure our freedoms remain for future generations."
