Farmers are the lifeblood of the Commonwealth. Our economy would crumble without the men and women who spend countless hours planting, growing and harvesting the corn, beans and wheat that we and so many all over the world consume every day. The 3rd District also has dairy and cattle farms that serve customers all over the country. The grain you pass along 68-80 ends up in countless markets and products, truly all over the world. Farmers need an elected official that will protect their industry from burdensome regulation and costly taxation -- costs that are carried on the shoulders of each of us at the grocery.
