Representative Berman has fought in the legislature to ensure that our public schools and universities have appropriate funding, that our teachers are paid a competitive salary to attract and maintain the best and brightest in our schools, and that our students are given every opportunity to succeed in the twenty-first century economy. Lori has worked extensively with our firefighters and police officers to assure that they have sufficient resources necessary to keep us safe.

Protection of our children is one of Lori's top priorities. For the last two years, Rep. Berman has sponsored a measure to require day care vans to have an alarm in the rear that sounds once the ignition is turned off. The Palm Beach County Commission adopted this initiative and Rep. Berman continues to advocate for state wide adoption of this potentially lifesaving legislation.
