"We honor your dedication to public service and believe you to be a champion and a voice for our people and our way of life.

"We believe in your leadership, experience and your respect for our Pueblo. Therefore, we are proud to endorse your candidacy for United States Congress in 2012," Governor Vicente stated.

"All tribes and pueblos were a priority for me in state government where I directed state and federal resources to the unique needs of Indian Country. I will do the same when I go to Washington, while always respecting the sovereign Indian nations."
