Response to Supreme Court Announcement over ObamaCare

Statement

Congressman Jeff Landry (R, LA-03), one of the House's leading opponents of Obamacare, issued the following statement today following the announcement that the Supreme Court will hear a challenge to Obamacare:

"Last year, Congress and the President ignored the will of the American people by passing and enacting Obamacare into law. Since taking office, I have co-sponsored the repeal and voted against Obamacare at least 19 times. I am proud to have acted on behalf of my constituents in signing petitions urging the Supreme Court to consider the legislation because Obamacare has destroyed jobs and will continue to halt American economic progress. I trust the Supreme Court will provide the judicial branch's check and overturn Obamacare so we can replace it with real solutions that make health care more affordable and more-patient centered."
