Second District Congressional candidate, U.S. Army Reservist and former U.S. Attorney Tim Griffin today issued the following statement to commemorate the signing of the U.S. Constitution on this day in 1787:

"Our Constitution is one of the reasons America is exceptional. As we celebrate its signing, let us pause to remember the patriots who authored the Constitution, those who have defended it and how we can guarantee it is passed on to future generations."
