Fiscal Responsibility
Jason Perillo believes the primary role of government should be to make our lives better. As your State Representative, Jason will:

* Work tirelessly to ensure your tax dollars are spent wisely
* Work with Governor Rell to control state spending and promote responsible budgets that keep taxes down

Downtown Redevelopment
Jason Perillo will continue the Belden legacy of fighting for funding to redevelop our downtown, which will help secure a vibrant downtown for Shelton's future generations. As your State Representative, Jason will:

* Work with state and local leaders to promote continued economic development downtown
* Fight for additional state funding for redevelopment projects

Preserving Open Space
Jason Perillo believes strongly that protecting our green space and ensuring farmland preservation is the key to securing Shelton's natural beauty and our quality of life. As your State Representative, Jason will:

* Fight for funding that will secure open space in Shelton
* Work with local farmers to preserve our precious agricultural land

Commitment to Service in Shelton
Jason believes in serving the community. He is active in the following:

* Echo Hose Ambulance, Chief
* Board of Alderman
* Relay for Life, Co-Chair (which raises critical funds for cancer research)
* Planning and Zoning, Chair of Committee on Downtown Redevelopment
* Housatonic Council, Boy Scouts of America
* Shelton's Coalition to Stop Underage Drinking
* Sons of the American Legion Post 16
* Parishioner at Saint Joseph Church
