Statement Of U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell On Constitutional Amendment To Preserve Traditional Marriage

Due to recent developments in San Francisco and Massachusetts, it appears that a constitutional amendment is necessary to protect the proposition that marriage is the union of a man and a woman. I intend to support such an amendment.
