Congressman Schwarz Votes Against Protecting Marriage

"Congressman Schwarz thumbed his nose at the voters"

Conservative Republican Congressional Candidate Tim Walberg today denounced Congressman Schwarz's vote against the Marriage Amendment which defines marriage as between one man and one woman. (Roll Call 378)

Congressman Schwarz joined with Democrat Leader Nancy Pelosi and the entire Michigan Democrat Congressional delegation in voting against protecting traditional marriage.

"The people of Michigan and the 7th District spoke loud and clear when they voted to ban gay marriage here in Michigan in 2004. Congressman Schwarz thumbed his nose at the voters and blatantly turned his back on traditional marriage," said Walberg.
