"Iran’s direct and ongoing attacks on Israel must be condemned and all efforts need to be made to intercept and neutralize incoming strikes from drone or other weapon systems. As Iranian leaders continue to reject Israel’s right to exist, it is vital that the United States stands firm with Israel against this threat from Iran and support their defense. The next few hours are critical to ensure that this dangerous escalation does not risk lives of civilians and significantly inflame the violence in the region."
