"Republicans' decades-long crusade to overturn Roe v. Wade has created an unacceptable reality in states across America, where women are forced to carry nonviable pregnancies, suffer medical emergencies, and wait until their lives are in jeopardy to get necessary health care.

Senate Democrats will use this opportunity to lay bare the pain and suffering we are seeing across the country, and we hope it will serve as yet another powerful call to action that we must use every tool at our disposal to work towards a future where every woman in America can make their own decisions about their bodies, their lives, and their pregnancies--without interference from politicians.
