QUALITY OF LIFE PANEL HOLDS BRIEFING ON COMPENSATION

"Today, our panel received a briefing from the Department of Defense on military compensation. I know firsthand the challenges of raising a family while serving in the military. It's unacceptable to have military families struggling to get by. We must take a close look at benefits and compensation to make sure they are adequate and competitive. These are key elements for our servicemembers' quality of life, and critical for our Armed Forces' ability to recruit and retain military personnel."
