"I commend CMS for taking action to root out the perverse incentives in the Medicare Advantage program that encourage brokers to put profits before seniors. Seniors deserve to know that the information they're getting to help make important decisions about their health care is genuine and reliable. We still have a long way to go to root out fraudsters looking to make a quick buck at the expense of seniors, but this is a good start, and I am eager to continue my efforts to shed light on and address these abuses."
