"We welcome Ambassador Emanuel's efforts to strengthen America's alliances to combat the Chinese Communist Party's coercive economic practices. The CCP has a long history of using economic coercion against other countries to get its way. The Ambassador's effort will not only shine a light on these practices, but show a better way forward for building economic cooperation and collective resilience with our like-minded partners and allies. We look forward to working on a bipartisan basis in our Select Committee to expose these efforts by the CCP while supporting our friends and allies in need."
