Governor Polis signed the following bills into law administratively yesterday.

"In partnership with the legislature, we are saving people money, and investing in our future. I appreciate the hard work of the members of the Joint Budget Committee and state lawmakers to approve these balanced budget supplemental proposals that will help ensure Colorado is fiscally prudent and that we continue to build a cleaner, safer and healthier Colorado together," said Governor Polis.

"Colorado communities face challenges both big and small, and we've worked hard to address those issues and provide critical support to our state through this supplemental budget package," said JBC Chair Rachel Zenzinger, D-Arvada. "I am pleased to see these bills that will help mitigate and defend against increasingly destructive wildfires, provide urgently-needed support for our health care system, and boost our economy get signed into law so that Colorado students, families, and communities can continue to thrive."

"I'm proud of the work we've done to ensure access to affordable health care, bolster wildfire mitigation efforts, invest in our kids, and prioritize the services Coloradans rely upon," said JBC Vice Chair Shannon Bird, D-Westminster. "Our economy is strong because we've governed responsibly, and we're committed to crafting a balanced budget that creates jobs, supports our public schools and creates opportunity for all."
