Graves Statement on President Biden Releasing Another 15 Million Barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve

U.S. Congressman Garret Graves released the following statement:
"The president continues to acknowledge that we need additional oil supply to help bring prices down. That is good news; however, what is inexcusable is that he is tapping our emergency oil reserves rather than tapping available production in the Gulf of Mexico. Our emergency reserves are for emergencies -- not stupid policies. This threatens our energy security if there is a real emergency and gives additional leverage to Putin," Graves said.
