Former 189th Command Chief Joins Boozman's Staff as Military and Veterans Advisor

U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR) announced Chief Master Sergeant (Ret.) Brian Rohauer has joined his staff as an advisor for military and veterans' issues.

Rohauer served in uniform for more than 30 years. He was promoted to the rank of Chief Master Sergeant in 2014 and served as the Command Chief for the 189th Airlift Wing at Little Rock Air Force Base beginning in 2019.

"I look forward to representing Senator Boozman and continuing public service in this new role. I'm committed to connecting with Arkansas's military community and our veterans to ensure they have the support, tools and resources they need and have earned. Their selfless service and sacrifice to our state and nation should never be forgotten," Rohauer said.

"I'm proud to welcome Brian to my team. He has a unique understanding of our men and women who serve in uniform and their families' needs and will be a valuable asset to Arkansas veterans and my legislative efforts to craft policies and advance initiatives to improve the lives of these selfless Americans," Boozman said.

Rohauer deployed in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. He earned numerous awards and decorations during his time in uniform to include the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal with one oak leaf cluster and Air Medal with two oak leaf clusters.

A current resident of Cabot, Rohauer will be based out of Boozman's Little Rock office and will travel around the state in his new capacity.
