Congressman LaMalfa Joins House Republicans in Introducing the "Commitment to America'

Today, Congressman Doug LaMalfa (R -- Richvale) joined Leader Kevin McCarthy and the entire House Republican Conference in releasing their Commitment to America, a policy platform to create an economy that's strong, a nation that's safe, a future that's built on freedom, and a government that's accountable. The four-part agenda rolls out common-sense solutions to pressing national problems that plague Americans everywhere. For the last year and a half, the House Republican Conference has worked in policy issue area task forces to find legislative solutions that address inflation, border security, domestic energy production, spiking crime, and foreign threats.

"The Biden Administration and Washington bureaucrats have proven that they do not have Americans' best interests in mind. All across Northern California and rural America, families are struggling to keep up with rising costs, small businesses are being suffocated by overregulation, and jobs are disappearing due to Democrats' attack on domestic gas and agriculture production," said Congressman LaMalfa. "Americans don't want a tax credit for an electric vehicle that costs more than their yearly salary, but that's Democrats' priority. Americans want their constitutional freedoms preserved, laws upheld, and their right to do business how they want. They have the right to be directly involved in their children's education and have that right affirmed. That is my commitment to Northern California and to America.
