Rep. Mace Releases Statement on Right to Contraception Act

Today, Rep. Mace released the following statement on her vote in favor of the Right to Contraception Act:

"South Carolina is banning almost all exceptions for women including who've been raped and victims of incest. Today I voted to protect access to contraceptives, to protect every woman in South Carolina," said Rep. Mace. "Not only do different contraceptives prevent pregnancies, but some are also needed in order to maintain a healthy and well-functioning body."
