"I told press during my weekly Pen and Pad that the House has a busy week tackling issues #ForThePeople. The House will vote on the Senate-passed CHIPS and Science Act tomorrow to bolster our semiconductor industry and legislation to combat wildfires and drought.

When the House sends the CHIPS and Science Act to @POTUS' desk tomorrow, we will be acting to accelerate domestic manufacturing, safeguard national security, fight inflation, and ensure workers and businesses across the United States have the tools they need to #MakeItInAmerica.

Finally, I said that Dems are working hard to address inflation. There is no silver bullet to combat inflation, but Republican obstruction doesn't help. If the GOP wants a strong economy, they should join us in voting for bipartisan solutions like the CHIPS and Science Act.
