Today, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) released the following statement on the passing of Joseph "Joe" Dentamaro, who passed away at the age of 82:

"A lifelong friend, a great Democratic leader and mentor- Joe will be sorely missed," said Larson. "His down-home practical means to tackle issues within our community was his greatest strength. I'm grateful for the time I worked with Joe, and his dedication to East Hartford will not be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this sad time, and I join them in mourning."
