Larson Applauds Profiles in Courage Honorees

Today Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) applauded the announcement that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Rep. Liz Cheney were honored with Profiles in Courage. Larson had nominated Cheney for a Profile in Courage.

"When democracies are under attack across the world, we need strong leaders. There is no stronger leader than President Zelenskyy, who the world has stood behind and admired as he has faced President Putin's heinous attack against Ukraine," said Larson. "Rep. Cheney put her country and democracy before her party and continues to do so. While we rarely vote the same way, I applaud her bravery in the aftermath of January 6th ."
