Today, Rep. Ted Budd (R-NC) received the 2022 American Patriot Award from the Association for Mature American Citizens (AMAC).

"The Association of Mature American Citizens represents Americans 50+. AMAC is centered on American values, freedom of the individual, free speech, and exercise of religion, equality of opportunity, sanctity of life, rule of law, and love of family, with benefits at all levels." The American Patriot Award is given to members of Congress "who have consistently stood tall" for those values.

Rep. Budd said in a statement:

"Standing for freedom, opportunity, and family values is what I am committed to do every single day that I serve in Congress. I'd like to thank AMAC for this award and let them know how much I appreciate their work advocating for Americans 50+."
