Today, United States Representative Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) announced the Joan Ganz Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) has selected Mississippi Public Broadcasting (MPB) to participate in a grant program to create content by, with, and for tween and teen audiences. As part of the By/With/For Youth: Inspiring Next Gen Public Media Audiences project, Mississippi Public Broadcasting will receive a $15,000 grant to support their local work with tweens and teens (ages 10-18).
