Today, U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) voted to confirm Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court of the United States. Justice Jackson's historic confirmation makes her the first Black woman to serve on the nation's highest court.
"This is a historic day in our nation's history, and I was proud to be able to vote to confirm Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson. Justice Jackson's diverse set of experiences and perspectives have long been lacking from our nation's highest court. These experiences make her an ideal justice."
