Moolenaar: Biden's SPR Release is Not Enough

Statement

Today, the Biden Administration announced it would be releasing 30 million barrels of oil from the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve to increase the amount of oil available.

"President Biden's release from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve is a drop in the bucket and more must be done to ensure Michigan families have reliable, affordable energy. President Biden should pursue all possible energy solutions, including renewables, expediting oil and gas permits, and building energy infrastructure including pipelines and tunnels," said Congressman John Moolenaar. "I have been a longtime supporter of building Keystone XL and the Line 5 tunnel because those projects, and others across, the nation are crucial infrastructure, create jobs, increase energy supply to meet demand, and bolster national security."
