U.S. Senators Susan Collins (R-ME), Joe Manchin (D-WV), Rob Portman (R-OH), and Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) issued the following statement after hosting a G-20 meeting with Mitch Landrieu, the Biden Administration's Senior Advisor and Infrastructure Coordinator:

"Today our G-20 group received a briefing from Mitch Landrieu, who has been tapped by the Biden Administration to oversee the implementation of the bipartisan infrastructure law," said Senators Collins, Manchin, Portman, and Sinema in a joint statement. "We had a good discussion and agreed to continue to keep in touch as the law is implemented."

Senators Collins, Manchin, Portman and Sinema were part of the original group of 10 Senators (G-10) who negotiated the infrastructure package, which is making the most significant investment in American infrastructure since the establishment of the Interstate Highway System in the 1950s.

The bill was endorsed by the bipartisan "G-20" group of Senators. In addition to Senators Collins, Manchin, Portman, and Sinema, the G-20 includes Senators Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV), Bill Cassidy (R-LA), Dick Durbin (D-IL) Maggie Hassan (D-NH), John Hickenlooper (D-CO), Mark Kelly (D-AZ), Angus King (I-ME), Jerry Moran (R-KS), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), Mitt Romney (R-UT), Mike Rounds (R-SD), Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), Jon Tester (D-MT), Thom Tillis (R-NC), Mark Warner (D-VA) and Todd Young (R-IN).
