The national pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) today revealed the latest Susan B. Anthony List National Pro-life Scorecard, a tool for holding members of Congress accountable for their legislative records on abortion and highlighting leadership in the fight to protect unborn children and their mothers.

Rep. Earl L. "Buddy" Carter was among the 249 Members to receive an A+ rating.

"Dr. Seuss said it best - a person is a person, no matter how small. I unapologetically stand on the side of life and will continue defending the lives of the unborn," said Carter. "Life begins at conception and the federal government has no business stripping life away from innocent children. I am proud to have received an A+ rating from the SBA List."

On their scorecard, SBA List cited the following examples of Rep. Carter's pro-life advocacy:

"Congressman Carter has stood up against the pro-abortion agenda of the Biden-Harris administration and Pelosi Democrats who are actively working to expand abortion access and abortion funding. Rep. Carter has voted consistently to defend the lives of the unborn and infants. This includes stopping hard-earned tax dollars from paying for abortion, whether domestically or internationally, and protecting health care provider rights for those who refuse to engage in brutal abortions.

"Congressman Carter offered a unanimous consent request for consideration of H.R. 18, the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion and Abortion Insurance Full Disclosure Act, which would make the Hyde Amendment permanent. Rep. Carter gave a speech defending life at a special order hour on the day of the Dobbs Supreme Court oral argument."
