"Michigan Republicans are directly attacking our freedom to vote. Their petition initiative would weaken our voting system, put people's personal information at risk, cost taxpayers tens of millions of dollars, and make it harder for everyone to vote.
In addition, they have no intention of putting this issue on the ballot to let the voters decide. They plan to use a loophole in the system because they know people will not support voter suppression.
Do NOT sign any petition that takes away voting rights. Decline to sign and protect our freedom to vote!"
