Thompson Announces Cambria Heights High School Recognized As National Blue Ribbon School

WASHINGTON -- U.S. Representative Glenn "GT" Thompson today announced Cambria Heights High School in Patton, Pa. has been recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School.

"Congratulations to Cambria Heights High School for being named an Exemplary High-Performing School. This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the students, families, faculty, and community," Rep Thompson said. "Our students are the future and Cambria Heights High School continues to challenge, prepare and empower students for success."

"We are very proud of the students, staff, and community at Cambria Heights. The Blue Ribbon Award for Exemplary High-Performing Schools is a positive confirmation of the outstanding efforts of our students and staff, and the constant support of our community," said Alan DuBreucq, Cambria Heights High School Principal.

"Over the past few years, the faculty, students, and community of Cambria Heights have worked cooperatively not only to overcome the challenges of COVID-19, they have also worked through a major high school renovation project. To be recognized as an Exemplary High Performing School despite these challenges is a testament to the hard work and determination of the entire school community," said Kenneth Kerchenske, Cambria Heights School District Superintendent.

Cambria Heights High School is one of 13 schools in Pennsylvania and one of 325 public and private schools across the nation given this recognition in 2021.
