Armstrong Votes to Protect Life

Congressman Kelly Armstrong (R-ND) released the following statement after voting against H.R. 3755. This legislation imposes on-demand abortion, removes nearly all pro-life protections for the unborn, and abolishes laws preventing late-term abortions.

"This extreme legislation would allow abortion for any reason and override state level pro-life laws." said Congressman Armstrong. "I am proud to be pro-life and vote against attempts to pass radical pro-abortion legislation."

This bill would codify the right to an abortion, radically expanding abortion access nationwide without essential protections. Additionally, H.R. 3755 would strip the states of their right to pass regulations on abortion, requiring new pro-life laws be approved by the Department of Justice before taking effect.
