Congressman Thompson Announces $300,000 Awarded to Jackson State University

BOLTON, MISSISSIPPI -- Today, United States Representative Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) announced The National Science Foundation has awarded $300,000 to Jackson State University. This project, entitled "EAGER: Pathway to Commercialization at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs)," is under the direction of Almesha Campbell. This project seeks to explore the technology and technology transfer infrastructure at a subset of HBCUs with Computer Science and Engineering Departments.
